Juan Schneider holds a Master's degree in Physics specializing in nanotechnology and ultrafine film and has over 25 years of experience in the fields of technology and business. With leadership and creativity in 2014, he founded Nanogrande Inc., the first Canadian company to develop its proprietary metal additive manufacturing technology. This technology has enabled the commercialization of the first nano 3D metal printers in the world, becoming a commercialization vehicle for more than twenty partners and suppliers from Quebec and Canada. Mr. Schneider is the author of a dozen patents covering more than fifteen countries in Europe, Asia and America that have enabled the development and industrialization of molecular coating processes, as well as ultrathin films. With his team, this work has been rewarded with awards such as the Formnext 2018, in Germany; the Octas and Dunamis Awards in 2017; the NASA-NANO50 in 2004; Semicon West 2005, and Nano-Japan 2005 for their micro and nano surface manufacturing solutions. Mr. Schneider is a regular guest speaker at conferences and presentations in Canada and abroad. He is involved in the development of the next generation as a mentor for the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education at Dawson College, as well as a lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the University of Montreal since 2007.
